  • Adam Eilath

    Adam Eilath has served as the Head of School at Wornick Jewish Day School in Foster City since 2019. He is proud to lead a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to developing the next generation of leaders steeped in Jewish values and traditions. Prior to Wornick, Adam served as a department chair and administrator at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay in San Francisco, and taught at Kehillah Jewish High School in Palo Alto.

    Adam holds degrees from McGill University, Tel Aviv University along with certificates in education from the Hartman Institute, Harvard University, the Jewish Theological Seminary and Yeshiva University. He was recently a Wexner Field Fellow and currently serves as faculty for M2's Pedagogies of Peoplehood Fellowship. In 2018, Adam received the Diller Award for Excellence in Education. Adam lives in Oakland with his wife and four children.

  • Dana Sheanin

    Dana Sheanin is the first female Chief Executive Officer of Jewish LearningWorks. She is the founder of Voices for Good, a Jewish LearningWorks initiative focused on amplifying the voices of women professional leaders. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to support a variety of Jewish organizations in the areas of strategic initiative design, organizational capacity building and professional development.

    Dana is fortunate to have served two Federations – UJA Federation of New York and the Jewish Federation of the East Bay – as well as the Union for Reform Judaism. Dana is an alumna of the Hebrew Union College School of Nonprofit Management and the University of Southern California School of Social Work. She is also a leadership coach, and received her training through the CoActive Training Institute/CTI. She lives with her partner, Sue Bojdak, and four children in Kensington, California.

  • Denise Dautoff

    Denise Dautoff, a Mexican-American Jew of Color of indigenous descent, currently serves on The Jewish Agency for Israel’s Global Jewish Partnership for Racial Justice Committee and the San Francisco Latino Community Foundation’s Leadership Council Committee.

    She holds a B.S. in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University. She completed the 2019-2020 Union of Reform Judaism's DEI JewV’Nation Fellowship, earned a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion for Equitable Community Change from Cornell University, and a Certificate in Board Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Additionally, she has undergone Community Organizing training with Bend the Arc.

    Denise has been involved with the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation and various committees within Jews of Color (JOC) organizations (Ammud JOC Torah Academy, Jews of Color Mishpacha Project, and Jewtina y Co.) Denise resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their two college-aged daughters.

  • Evelyn Dean-Olmsted

    Evelyn María Dean-Olmsted is a Project Lead at Rosov Consulting, where she works on projects studying Jewish communities, teen travel to Israel, and families with young children. Before joining Rosov in 2023, Evelyn worked as a researcher at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida, and the Victor Center for the Prevention of Jewish Genetic Diseases. Previously, she was Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.

    Her academic research explores questions of identity, religiosity, and language among Jewish Latin Americans. She currently serves on the editorial board of the journal Latin American Jewish Studies and the advisory board of the Jewish Language Project. With Sarah Benor, she co-created the Léxico Judío Latinoamericano, a collaborative online database of words and phrases used among Spanish-speaking Jews in the Americas. Evelyn is originally from Colorado Springs, CO and is of English/German, Baghdadi Jewish (via Southeast Asia), and Hispanic New Mexican descent. She lives with her husband and two children in Miami, FL.

  • Janet Harris

    Janet Harris was most currently the Senior Director of Family Engagement at the Jewish Community Federation. She has worked in the field of Early Childhood Jewish Education for over 40 years, and has founded both an Orthodox and Conservative Jewish preschool, and has been a Jewish community preschool Director for many years.

    Janet is a graduate of Pacific Oaks and holds a B.A. in Human Development and M.A. in Educational Leadersaip. She is also a graduate of the Melton Program for Jewish Education in the Diaspora, and the Mandel Teacher Education Initiative. She has been a Wexner Heritage Fellow and Richard Dinner Fellow at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. Ms. Harris holds California Teaching Credentials in Early Childhood Education and Parent Education.

    Ms. Harris received the Diller Award for Lifetime Achievement in Jewish Education in 2023. Janet works as a educational coach, and is the proud grandparent of Ezra, Mila, Eliana and Eva.

  • Jessica Goodman, Board Chair

    As the daughter of immigrants, Jessica always understood the complexities of trauma and its effects on individuals and families. Throughout her life, she felt she belonged everywhere and nowhere, and eventually, she learned to appreciate her full identity, to live life on her own terms and help others do the same.

    Since 2009, Jessica’s work has focused on working with children and families who experienced trauma, including in the child welfare system. She holds an M.S.W and is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, specializing in supporting children, youth, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. Additionally, she is a Jewtina fellow and Child Therapist Peer Consultation Group Lead.

    Jessica has also fought for affordable housing with Bend the Arc, Ikar, and interfaith community organizations. She also served on the advisory board for the Miller Introduction to Judaism program at American Jewish University. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two children.

  • Sharon Petrowsky

    Sharon Petrowsky serves as Chief Operating Officer for Libitzky Property Companies, a real estate investment firm that owns and operates commercial and industrial real estate throughout the US.

    Prior to joining Libitzky Property Companies, Sharon spent 15 years as a Senior Relationship Manager at First Republic Bank with a focus on residential and commercial lending, private banking and wealth management. Her banking career has included holding positions in underwriting and credit administration.

    Sharon attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she received a B.A in Finance. As a granddaughter of four Holocaust survivors, she has always had a strong connection to her family history and Judaism; and now works to support and promote Jewish life in the Bay Area. Sharon lives in the East Bay with her family and young daughter and is excited to be part of a warm Olamim community that provides a place of belonging for the entire family.

  • Rachel Salinas

    Rachel Salinas is a creative thought partner and experience designer. She has spent the last decade working as a human-centered strategy consultant and then across the many functions at a fast growing start-up. As a strategy director she channeled her creativity to help design experience, systems, and strategies for purpose-driven organizations—from Silicon Valley-based technology titans to local nonprofits. At her most recent start-up, she moved fluidly around the organization to help leaders simplify complexity, generate new ideas, and facilitate teams and clients through meaningful moments that shift behaviors and mindsets.

    Rachel grew up in the suburbs of New York, but has lived in the Bay Area for 14 years. She took a brief break from the west coast to get her MBA from Yale School of Management, where she met her husband. Together they are exploring ways to nurture a Latin Jewish household, and to help their two children feel a sense of pride and connection to their culture.
